Earthquake Swarm Rattles Danville, East Bay Friday
Five quakes were reported in the East Bay early Friday morning. Did YOU feel them?

DANVILLE, CA — Five more earthquakes shook the Tri-Valley area Friday. A magnitude 2.7 earthquake hit near Danville at 2:32 a.m. followed by a 2.8-magnitude at 3:24 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. A larger 3.3-magnitude quake hit nearby Diablo about 5:28 a.m. A fourth 3.6-magnitude quake struck the Diablo area at 12:19 p.m. followed by a 2.8 magnitude in Danville at 12:21 p.m.
The quakes were felt in Walnut Creek, San Ramon and as far away as Dublin, Pleasanton, Concord, Clayton, and Livermore. No injuries were reported as a result of the quakes. Earlier in the week, a swarm of four earthquakes struck Danville and Alamo.
