DANVILLE, CA — Danville kids can enjoy the final Kidchella performance Wednesday at the Danville Town Green. The Banana Slug String Band, which has been playing children’s music for nearly 40 years, will dress in the costumes and local flora and fauna, like banana slugs and redwood trees.
The performance will begin at 11:15 a.m. with reading time, followed by a musical performance at noon, followed by arts and crafts.
The event is free and open to the public.
That’s just one of many family-friendly events coming to Danville. On Saturday, families can enjoy Play at the Plaza, a series of games at Prospect Park Plaza. At 6 p.m., this will be followed by Music in the Park, featuring “Dream Like Taylor,” a Taylor Swift cover band.
