• Hot Summer Sundays Car Show Returning To Danville (patch.com) — Downtown Danville is gearing up for the return of Hot Summer Sundays, transforming Hartz and Prospect Avenue into an open-air auto museum with hundreds of classic, custom, and muscle cars. Residents can enjoy live music, vendor booths, and awards for standout vehicles, with staging at San Ramon Valley High School and priority entry for those who pre-register.
   

• Driver Crashes Through Front of Popular Restaurant in Danville Bay Area Telegraph (bayareatelegraph.com) — A driver crashed into the front of Luna Loca Mexican Restaurant at Danville's Livery center last Wednesday, heavily damaging structural supports but miraculously causing no reported injuries. Firefighters and a specialized Urban Search and Rescue team stabilized the building, and officials advise customers to check directly with the longtime Danville eatery before visiting while repairs and inspections continue.
