Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop’s “500 Easy Pieces”

Worn with a skirt, this creation is dramatic. Worn with long pants, chic. Worn with jeans, DYNAMITE!

Member volunteers at the Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, proudly announce its latest and greatest epic, “500 Easy Pieces,” premiering Tuesday, July 30 and running until Friday, August 2. This “standing room only” classic features 500 donated tops, primarily in sizes small and medium, with most of them still in their original packaging.

In pristine condition, the assortment ranges from such soft tones as peach and lemon to bold splashes of pink, orange and magenta. Covering all seasons, the styles include sleeveless, t-strap, as well as short, three-quarter length and long sleeves. Find mock turtle, scoop, v-shaped or boat neck sweaters and silk knits. As for “Me Time,” cozy up with lounge and active wear!

While averse to dropping names, the apron-clad member volunteers did notice the label Alberto Makali, boasting denim friendly, tastefully embellished and ruffled accents that blend with clean lines and stunning prints. Also superior in quality, J’Envie items celebrate comfort, versatility and style for the ever-evolving woman. For a simplistic approach, Joseph Ribkof’s black and white signature touch and bold animal prints ease fashionistas from daytime to evening occasions. Simon Chang offers beaded fabrics and a gentle appeal to women’s fashion. At day’s end, dial it down with none-other-than Blue Ice—ahhhhhh!
