Everyone, including the member volunteers at Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, will agree that while economic recovery looms on the horizon, moderation in spending will serve us well.  It is in this spirit that these blue aproned ladies will launch the Annual Silver Plate, Sterling  and Fine Linens event that will begin on Tuesday, November 4 and will conclude on Saturday, November 8, provided that inventory lasts.

Shelves will glisten with an array of over 350 polished pieces of  silver plate that promise to bring beauty to your table and hearth for many years to come.  You will  find flatware, tea and coffee pots, cream & sugar sets, salt & pepper shakers, butter dishes, trays, platters, water pitchers, champagne buckets, casseroles, bowls, covered vegetable dishes, candle holders and gravy boats.

Additionally, a lovely selection of sterling silver pieces will surely catch your eye.  Visualize candle holders, salt & pepper shakers, bowls, coasters and flatware resting on fine linens, many of them hand made, that include tablecloths, runners and napkins - all rich in tradition, all available for a pittance.  An assortment of antique and vintage pieces will be sprinkled with a few Sheffield gems, as well.
