Assisteens Auxiliary Virtual Auction March 20 Open to the Public
Savor that first cup of coffee to greet the day or reflect upon it with your evening tea.
Established in 1977, Assisteens® Auxiliary is a nonprofit, volunteer organization comprised of 60 teenagers in grades 7 through 12 who are interested in learning the value of volunteering, as well as developing leadership and organizational skills.
Complying with the guidelines of the national organization and Assistance League Diablo Valley chapter, Assisteens select their own philanthropic programs, such as assembling snack packs for Receiving Center backpacks, labeling 480 books for the chapter’s R.E.A.D. program and hosting four events at a local senior care facility. Likewise, Assisteens raise money to donate to the chapter’s Foster Youth Scholarships program.
Embracing “the New Normal,” the Assisteens are now planning a Virtual, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Auction, scheduled for Saturday, March 20, from 12 to 2:00 p.m. To preview the auction items, 20 in total, please visit this website: https://shrida123.wixsite.com/mysite.
