Baby Deer Arrivals, 'Spring Has Sprung': Danville Photo Of The Day

DANVILLE, CA — Look at this adorable photo Patch reader Jim McNamara submitted near Alamo.

“Every spring we await the new baby deer arrivals. They showed up yesterday, for the 1st time!!! Photo quality not the best but subject matter is beautiful! Hope you enjoy as much as we do,” he said March 30.

Jim mentioned another special note about the picture.

“It's very unusual to have a dark and light fawn. Mom almost always has 2, for it's very typical to lose one to Mother Nature,” he said.
