Boys golf: San Ramon, Monte Vista Each Qualify One for NCS TOC

The Wolves and Mustangs finish third and fourth as teams at the NCS South Qualifier

The San Ramon Valley and Monte Vista boys' golf teams saw their respective team seasons end on Monday at the North Coast Section South Qualifier, but each team qualified an individual for the NCS Tournament of Champions.

San Ramon's Harrison Quinlan shot a 2-over par 74, and Monte Vista's Kyle Bowser shot a 5-over 77 at Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland.

Heavy rain and wind resulted in tough conditions for the field of 18 teams. The top two teams (Amador Valley and De La Salle) qualified for the NCS TOC at Baywood Golf and Country Club in Arcata on May 17.
