4th of July Celebration Day of The American Ideal in downtown Danville. Danville does patriotism proud!
The Fourth of July is the one of the most significant days for America. It’s a day that gives honor to our country — a larger than life flag waving day of pride.
The Town of Danville does America proud with its celebration of this day every year.
When I arrived at 8 a.m. for the festivities downtown as far as the eye could see, Hartz Avenue was lined with empty chairs that kept an overnight vigil waiting for
their respective owners.

Among the regular coffee and breakfast crowd were the anticipators, sitting, ready and waiting for the main event — the parade.
Walking up and down Hartz Avenue I got to see, meet and greet the spirited people, including veterans that were being honored on this red, white and blue day — those who fought for our country's freedom.

Danville honors its veterans, from all branches of the armed forces and all wars, past and present, including those currently serving. With the parade, our town was not only celebrating the Fourth of July, but also, promoting and honoring its future leaders.
