"Breaking Rules" Exhibition Opening At Village Theatre Art Gallery
The exhibition on defying and redefining artistic conventions will open with an April 12 reception.
DANVILLE, CA — The Village Theatre Art Gallery is opening a new exhibition entitled "Breaking Rules," which will run from April 12 to June 13.
The exhibition will "delve into the creative process of layering, excavation, and defying artistic conventions," and will feature artists Meg MacLeod, Suzanne Lewis, Jane Yuen Corich, Mira M. White, and Kathryn M. Wills.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, April 12 from 5-7 p.m. The public will be able to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments.

Outside quarterly art exhibitions, the Village Art Gallery is open Monday to Tuesday by appointment only, Wednesday to Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit www.danville.ca.gov/arts or follow @DanvilleCAgov on social media.
