Buck Supermoon: Danville Photo Of The Day

Patch loves photos! Share your photos and your work could be featured.

(Bob Schiff)

DANVILLE, CA — Danville resident Bob Schiff used a telescope and a CMOS digital camera to produce an incredibly detailed photo of the "buck moon" that shone over the world on July 13. The picture is so crystal clear you can almost see the American flag planted by Neil Armstrong if you squint extra hard.

Thank you for sharing, Bob!

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breathtaking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
