Danville, CA — Kriste Michelini Gallery is pleased to present Threshold of Light, a thoughtfully curated exhibition featuring the work of San Francisco painter Christina Kent and ceramic artist Lisa Fleming. Bringing together Kent’s expressive oil paintings and Fleming’s elegant porcelain vessels, the exhibition explores light, shadow, form, and feeling.

Kent’s paintings capture the transient interplay between light and both urban and natural environments. Rooted in a practice of walking and close observation, her work reflects quiet moments found within shifting atmospheres. Her city scenes are shaped by structure, geometry, and the movement of urban life, while her landscapes open into expansive skies and softened horizons.
