Help support this meaningful cause – no prior knitting experience is required, and we will have 15 kits available to borrow or purchase! About This Course: 
This HeartSaver Total course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states.. The course is conducted entirely in person, includes a lunch break and several breaks throughout the day. It is interactive and engaging. Please inform your instructor if you require accommodations. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, as we will be practicing with mannequins on the floor. The class is limited to 9 participants and is taught by an instructor certified by the American Heart Association (AHA).

Heartsaver Pediatric Total&nbsp;– Comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements. If you are student, please confirm that this is the correct course for your class.&nbsp;At the end of the class you earn a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card, valid for two years

A: Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to&nbsp;respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help&nbsp;arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors,&nbsp;youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for&nbsp;parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians.

Cool Family Fun! Hot Jazz and Blues! *FREE* Cool Summer Jazz Saturdays at the San Ramon Library continues with saxophonist extraordinaire Charles McNeal on Saturday, August 15th. 
The Charles McNeil and Friends quartet include: Charles McNeal, alto sax, Joe Warner, keys, Ron Belcher, bass and Deszon Claiborne, drums. 
Nationally-known Charles McNeal has been booked for such prestigious events as the Monterey and San Francisco Jazz Festivals. He is best known for the provision of many saxophone transcriptions and educational materials.&nbsp; 
The hour-long performance will be in the upstairs community room at the Library starting at 2 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The concert is free to the public, but seats fill up fast so get there! 
This concert is supported by the San Ramon Library Foundation and Jazz in the Neighborhood (JITN).
