7 Danville Town Council Candidates Have Filed Papers
Also: Councilmember Lisa Blackwell will not seek re-election, triggering a deadline extension.

DANVILLE, CA — Councilmember Lisa Blackwell will not seek re-election, which triggers an extension of the nomination paper filing deadline for three town council seats on the ballot this November, the town said.
Papers must be filed by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone wishing to run can contact City Clerk Marie Sunseri at 925-314-3401.
Eligible candidates must be residents of Danville. Filing is free but including an optional statement in the voter guide costs $660. Learn more here.
