David Benoit "A Charlie Brown Christmas" Tribute Concert with Special Guest Jane Monheit

The Blackhawk Museums is hosting a special holiday concert featuring David Benoit and special guest Jane Monheit. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Tribute concert will be held on Sunday, December 20 at 8:00 pm. Concert goers will have the full run of the Museums exhibitions starting at 6:00 pm, including The Spirit of the Old West Exhibition, the ETE Model Train Layout and the Automotive Gallery. David Benoit’s career as a contemporary jazz pianist and composer has included over 25 solo recordings. His prolific output since 2000 includes several prominent Charlie Brown related projects that reflect his lifelong passion for the music of original Peanuts composer Vince Guaraldi and solidify Benoit’s role as his musical heir.
Grammy-nominated pianist/composer/arranger Benoit is revered as one of the founding fathers of contemporary jazz and his pairing with Grammy-nominated vocalist Jane Monheit for this Christmas Tribute to Charlie Brown serves as a splendid cross-generational effort that will be a holiday season concert performance you are sure to enjoy.
