CHP Cracking Down Over Long Labor Day Weekend

All available CHP officers will be cracking down during the Maximum Enforcement Period from 6:01 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Monday.

CALIFORNIA — Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest on the highways, which makes impaired driving even more dangerous.

To help keep the roadways safe, the California Highway Patrol is joining forces with five other Western states to crack down on drunk and drugged driving for the coming holiday weekend.

All available CHP officers will be in force for the Maximum Enforcement Period from 6:01 p.m. Friday, August 30, to 11:59 p.m. Monday, September 2.
