Community Invited to Moonlight Movies in Danville

Bring a blanket, chairs and a picnic basket and enjoy a fun outdoor dinner before the movie gets underway.

Danville, CA — Halfway through the summer season, Moonlight Movies still has "Muppets," "Tiny Titans" and a lot of emotions as the beloved summer tradition continues.

Community members young and old will enjoy the excitement and fun of these family films displayed on a large screen near the band shell on the Town Green, 420 Front St.

The fun begins at 6:45 p.m. with crafts and activities for the kids, and the movie begins at sunset. Bring a blanket, chairs and a picnic basket and enjoy a fun outdoor dinner before the movie gets underway. Movies still on the schedule this year include:

July 15, 2016: "The Muppets Movie"

  • It’s never easy being green, but Kermit sure makes it look fun with the help of Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Animal and the rest of the Muppets.

July 29, 2016: "Ant-Man"

August 12, 2016: "Inside Out"

No registration is required for this free family movie night on the Danville Town Green. Just pack up the picnic basket, bring blankets and chairs and family to have a fantastic night.
