Congressman DeSaulnier Moves Danville Town Hall To Larger Venue

The event will be today at 1 p.m. at Charlotte Wood Middle School, discussing "Women in Leadership, Politics and Society."

DANVILLE, CA —The town hall meeting planned for 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 2, in Danville is being relocated to Charlotte Wood Middle School to better accommodate attendees, according to the office of Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11).

Overwhelming interest in the topic, "Women in Leadership, Politics and Society," led to the decision to choose a larger venue.

At the town hall, DeSaulnier will be joined by a panel of local leaders who will explore the most pressing issues facing women today, such as achieving gender and economic equity in the workplace and society, overcoming barriers to women’s health care and increasing the representation of women in government, his office said.
