Columnist Debra J. Saunders

A columnist for The San Francisco Chronicle since 1992 is only one of her many endeavors. Ms. Saunders’, at one time, was also a columnist and editorial writer for the Los Angeles Daily News. She was recognized by the prestigious National Journal’s “Talking Heads” column as a member of the A team of top political personalities. Vaughn Ververs wrote: (and we as readers know) that “her column is a welcome change in tone from the rest of the editorial page, and she regularly throws punches at both sides.” Ms. Saunders’ column is syndicated through Creators Syndicate and runs in newspapers throughout the country. She has also written for The Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard and National Review besides writing her own books. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Boston with a B.A. in Greek and Latin.
