Coroner IDs 2 Killed In Fatal Danville Crash
Two Antioch residents were killed in a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning while passing through Danville on I-680. DUI is suspected.

DANVILLE, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff Coroner's Division has identified two Antioch residents as victims of an early morning, wrong-way crash over the weekend that resulted in the filing of felony driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter charges.
Nettie Perkett, 46, of Antioch and Taurean Lee, 26, of Antioch were killed in the crash, the coroner's division said Tuesday.
Camille Veraanne Kimball, 27, of Concord has been arrested in connection with the crash.

CHP says Kimball drove her 2020 Ford Fusion southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway near Danville's El Pintado Road, colliding head-on into a 2012 Honda Civic. Kimball was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are seeking witnesses to the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call Contra Costa CHP in Martinez at (925) 646-4980.
