Power Restored After Crash Prompts Small Danville Outage
Police said the driver hit a power pole.

DANVILLE, CA — A driver suffered minor injuries after colliding with a power pole in Danville early Wednesday morning, police officials said. The crash brought down power lines and prompted police to close Highland Drive near Sky Terrace for several hours.
The wreck was reported just before 3 a.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application. About 40 customers are without power in that area, according to PG&E. Power was restored just before 4 p.m.
