Danville Art & Wine Stroll

Perfect evening and fun had by all

Another Successful Art & Wine Stroll on Hartz Street in Danville. This was my second year participating as an Aritst and my first year showing my latest works in "Encaustic Hot Wax" paintings. With a hot gun in one hand and molten wax by my side I paint with wax to create layers of color and translucent beeswax paintings. I partnered up with artist friend Loralee Chapleau, an award winning artist who works mainly with Oil on Canvas. Her brilliant lovely colorful paintings offer large swooping strokes creating abstract, impressionistic landscapes. Between the two of us, we had a lot of positive attention and questions about our work which we were happy to share with the public in such a great atmosphere. You can see more of our work at the Blackhawk Gallery located at the Blackhawk Plaza in Danville. Cheers!
