Danville Babysitter Arrest: Caught on Camera Shaking, Hitting Infant- Police
The surveillance camera reportedly showed the Antioch woman strike and shake a 10-month-old baby.

DANVILLE, CA: Police have arrested a Danville babysitter suspected of abusing a 10-month-old baby, police officials said.
Police Chief Steve Simpkins said officers were dispatched at 2:32 p.m. to a home on Bordeaux Court after parents saw the babysitter strike and shake the baby via a remote video camera.
At the scene, officers arrested Mikayla Ririe, 23, of Antioch on charges of child abuse. Ririe was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

According to officials, the infant was transported to San Ramon Regional Hospital as a precaution.
