Danville Boy Decorates Thanksgiving Placemats For Seniors
Danville meal program recipients were greeted with a festive surprise this Thanksgiving.
DANVILLE, CA — A Danville sixth grader decorated placemats to put a smile on the faces of local seniors this Thanksgiving.
Ellis Toal decorated placemats for seniors who participate in in the town's frozen meal program, according to the town of Danville. He sought to bring festive cheer to seniors as they enjoyed Thanksgiving week meals.
The gesture prompted an outpouring of support from community members, who called the gesture beautiful and heartwarming on Instagram.
