Danville High School Football Player Competing for Spot in 'Under Armour All-American Football Game'
The community can vote to help Erik Krommenhoek get to Florida.
DANVILLE, CA — A Danville high school football player committed to play for USC in 2017 is hoping to add one more distinguished accomplishment to his sports resume before heading off to college. Monte Vista High School Senior Erik Krommenhoek is competing against other 16 other athletes for one of two spots left on the coveted Under Armour All-American High School Football team on New Year’s Day in Orlando, Florida.
The 6-foot-6 tight end weighs in at 243 pounds and officially committed to USC in June of 2016.
“He has worked hard on and off the field to get where he is,” Julie Krommenhoek, Erik’s mother said. “He would love to play in the All American Game but needs fan votes to get there.”
