Danville Home Burgled Tuesday Night: Cops

Three suspects broke into a home on Woodranch Circle and reportedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in goods.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville police are investigating a burglary that took place Tuesday night at a home on Woodranch Circle.

Officers responded Tuesday at 10:46 p.m. to a report of a residential burglary on the 60 block of Woodranch Circle, the Danville Police Department announced Thursday. The resident reported the home was broken into earlier when they were away, and property was taken.

The resident told KTVU that intruders broke into their home through the side gate and broke their sliding door, but not before one suspect fell into a pond, as security camera footage shows.

The suspects reportedly stole handbags, sunglasses, jewelry and cash worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Security camera footage on Twitter shows three hooded suspects leaving the front door of the home carrying boxes and large bags.

The victim told KTVU that one suspect rang the bell and said, “We got you.”

Additional security footage shows them putting the items in the trunk of a white BMW X5 and leaving.

The case is being investigated by the Danville Police Investigations Unit. Danville police said they are not releasing any more information other than the time and location of the burglary, and that they are investigating the case.
