Danville Hosting Expo & Open House

Guests will get to learn about spring and summer rec options, meet instructors, enjoy story time and free giveaways, and more.

DANVILLE, CA — The town of Danville will host its annual Recreation Expo & Open House to give community members a sneak peek at upcoming programming and meet the instructors.

The expo will take place at the Danville Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will continue on to other locations. Guests are encouraged to eat their way through downtown shops en route to story time at the Danville Library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and a children’s presentation at the Village Theatre from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

At the community center, children will be able to explore summer options like art, drama, sports, science, and more, while older adults can learn about fitness, enrichment, and social programs. They will also be able to get free town merchandise and other giveaways, and spin a prize wheel for a chance to win priority registration.

Spring Activity Guides containing summer camp information have been mailed to Danville, Alamo, and Diablo residents, and are available online. Registration for spring and summer programming begins Feb. 10 for Danville residents, and open registration begins Feb. 17. Before registering, guests can update their accounts here.
