DANVILLE, CA — The Danville community is invited to a ribbon cutting Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. to celebrate the renovated playground at Danville South Park, located at 1885 Camino Ramon.

The renovated park offers a new primary play structure, alongside several secondary elements that encourage climbing, balancing, spinning, and swinging. It also offers a sand play area that was relocated to improve the overall flow and accessibility of the playground. Many trees have been preserved to provide shade and greenery.

The playground closed for renovation in January, though the rest of the park remained open.
