Danville 'Kidchella' Concert Returns To Town Green

Kids will enjoy free story time, two concerts, and arts and crafts.

DANVILLE, CA — Anyone 11 or younger is definitely too young to attend Coachella, but they are the perfect age to attend Kidchella, two concerts at the Danville Town Green this summer.

The first concert will be held Wednesday, June 17, when Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies will play funk-inspired indie reggae rock music for children.

On July 22, the Banana Slug String Band will perform. The band has been playing children’s music for nearly 40 years, and dress in the costumes of local flora and fauna like banana slugs and redwood trees.
