Danville Lend-A-Hand Day Looking For Volunteers

The town is looking for volunteers to help with senior yard work on Lend A Hand Day Saturday in April.

DANVILLE, CA — The Town of Danville is looking for volunteers to help elderly residents care for their homes as part of the annual Lend-a-Hand Day on Saturday, April 25.

Each spring, Danville volunteers help homeowners who may not be able to care for their yards themselves. Volunteers can help rake, weed, mulch, and perform other yard work tasks. Shifts can either take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. or 8 am. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers must be 16 or older, though volunteers ages 12 to 15 can be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 25 and older can register as a project manager for the day.
