Danville PD Fall Citizens Academy Enrolling
Danville residents will be able to learn about local law enforcement topics, like patrol procedures, investigations, and more.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville residents interested in learning more about law enforcement are invited to apply for the Citizens’ Police Academy, which begins Sept. 30.
Danville officers will teach students about a number of topics, including:
- Parol procedures
- Traffic enforcement
- Impaired driving
- Investigations
- Crime scene processing
- Crime prevention
- Criminal prosecution
Classes are held in-person Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. for six consecutive weeks, including one Saturday session on Oct. 17.

The course is open to all students 18 or older, but priority is given to Danville residents.
