Danville Police, Chipotle Raise $338 For Special Olympics
Organizers said Chipotle donated 33 percent of the proceeds generated between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on March 26.
DANVILLE, CA — Officers with the Danville Police Department recently raised $338 for the Special Olympics. The department invited the community to participate by dining at the Danville Chipotle on March 26. The fundraiser was part of Chipotle's popular "Do Good With Burritos" program.
The funds will help provide local Special Olympics athletes with free year-round sports training and competition opportunities in 11 different sports, according to the Northern California Special Olympics website.
