Danville Police Department To Host Prescription Drug Take Back Event
Residents in Danville and across the country can dispose of unused or expired medications on April 22.

DANVILLE, CA — The Danville Police Department will partner with law enforcement agencies across the country in hosting a prescription drug takeback day on April 22.
The event is part of a national effort spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration to provide a safe, convenient and responsible way for the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes to prevent misuse and possible addiction, and learn more about drug abuse risks.
Residents can bring unused or expired medication for safe disposal to the DPD’s office at 500 La Gonda Way from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
