Danville Public Buildings To Reopen
The Community Center and Senior Center are now open, with the Village Theatre Art Gallery opening later this week.

With the return of Contra Costa County to the red tier on the Blueprint to a Safer Economy, the Town of Danville will begin reopening public buildings this week. Beginning Monday, March, 22, 2021, both the Danville Community Center, 420 Front St and the Danville Senior Center, 115 E. Prospect Ave. Will reopen for front counter service. The public will be able to register for recreation programs, make payments or ask questions from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. For more information, call the Danville Senior Center at 925-314-3430 or the Danville Community Center at 925-314-3400.

Then, beginning on Thursday March 25, 2021, the Village Theatre Art Gallery will be open to walk-ins and appointments. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. To make an appointment, visitors should go to the Village Theatre Art Gallery webpage at www.danville.ca.gov/vtart. The newest exhibit is titled Inspired By, featuring pieces inspired by famous artists. This exhibit will be on display through May 28.
