Danville Seeks Downtown Master Plan Bids
The town is opening a public bidding process to improve the downtown.

DANVILLE, CA — The Town of Danville is seeking public bids for its Downtown Master Plan Catalyst Project, a roughly $4 million project to enhance the downtown.
The project is the result of a large survey, public community meetings, stakeholder interviews, and the highest priorities highlighted in the Danville 2022 Downtown Master Plan Update. It includes a number of improvements, including:
- Traffic calming and beautification improvements at 5 intersections along Hartz Avenue from School Street to Linda Mesa Avenue
- Improvements near the Village Theatre
- More community gathering spaces
- Enhanced pedestrian safety
- Opportunities to incorporate arts and culture
The project will be phased and go from intersection to intersection.
