Danville Street Closures For Sunday's Run For Education

All rolling closures should be short term and all roads reopened by 8:45 a.m.

From The City of Danville: Motorists are advised that several residential streets will be temporarily closed for the annual San Ramon Valley Education Foundation’s Run for Education in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 14, 2018.

Athletes participating in the 10K portion of the Run for Education event will be shuttled from the San Ramon finish line to the starting line at Charlotte Wood Middle School. The race gets underway at 8:00 a.m. Once the runners are clear of the starting zone, police will begin several short rolling closures following the race route to the Iron Horse Trail via Paraiso Drive. Drivers will be halted at trail crossings while runners pass. All rolling closures should be short term and all roads reopened by 8:45 a.m.
Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and expect delays.
