Danville Teacher, 58, Arrested on Suspicion of Possessing of Child Pornography

A 58-year-old Danville man is in custody after being arrested early Friday, August 22, 2014 by the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

At about 7:30 a.m., members of the ICAC Task Force served a warrant at a home on Bourne Lane in unincorporated Danville. As a result of the investigation, Mitchell Wolf, 58, was taken into custody. Wolf was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and booked on charges of Possession of Child Pornography where he is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Wolf is a teacher at Diablo Vista Middle School in Danville. As a result of the ICAC investigation, detectives from the Danville Police Department and the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a follow-up investigation to ensure there are no local victims related to this incident.
