Danville Youth Asked To Submit Artwork For Summer Activity Guide Cover

DANVILLE, CA — Danville youth 11-17 are encouraged to submit entries for the 2026 Summer Activity Guide Cover Art Contest. The winning submission will be the cover of the 2026 Summer Activity Guide, which will be mailed to every household in Danville

The contest theme is "Coloring Outside the Lines," and artists are asked to use colored pencil to depict a summer scene in the town. Artwork must be vertical and sized 8.5" by 11". Submissions should be fully original, and fully colored by hand with colored pencils. Participants must email a photo of their illustration to Megan Eddings at meddings@danville.ca.gov by March 11.

"Creating a cover design gives young artists a chance to share their perspective, celebrate what they love about Danville, and see their creativity recognized beyond the classroom or home," the town said.
