Danville's Forge Pizza Closing

The Bay Area pizza chain will close its store on March 15.

DANVILLE, CA — Forge Pizza is closing its Danville store Sunday, March 15 after more than six years of serving the community. The Danville branch at 345 Railroad Ave Ste. B in the Iron Horse Plaza was the second of three Forge Pizza locations. Others can be found in Napa and Oakland.

“Danville has been a great ride," said Michael Karp, operating partner of the Forge brand and Fourth Bore Tap Room & Grill in Orinda, in a statement on the Forge website. "Some of our best pizza and favorite guests are from this location, however the time has come to give some one else an opportunity to bring their twist to Neapolitan pizza in the area.”

The store has been sold to new owners with a new concept, Forge said. That store will be launching in coming months.
