Danville's 'Kidchella' Brings Music, Storytime To Town

Danville kids can enjoy stories, arts and crafts, and a concert on the Town Green.

DANVILLE, CA — Coachella may be past, but the town of Danville is partnering with the Danville Library on a smaller, more kid-friendly event: Kidchella, the free, annual Children’s Summer Reading and Music Festival.

On Wednesday, families are invited to the Danville Library for storytime and a concert. Storytime will begin at 11:15 a.m., which will be followed by a noon concert on the Town Green by The Raytones, a children’s music band. The concert will be followed at 12:30 by arts and crafts and a story walk.

On July 13, a second Kidchella event will feature a concert of Caribbean music for children by Asheba.
