Danville's Maria Maria La Cantina Closes Its Doors
The Mexican restaurant announced it will close its Danville location, but fans can still get their fix in Walnut Creek seven miles away.
DANVILLE, CA — Maria Maria La Cantina in Danville has closed its doors after a decade of service to the community. The Mexican restaurant sought to deliver creative takes on Mexican dishes, made with fresh ingredients, and was featured in Diablo Magazine's Best of the East Bay list for its margaritas.
"With a heavy heart and after much consideration, we have decided to downsize into one Maria Maria location located in Walnut Creek," the restaurant posted on its Facebook page. "We have loved being a part of the Danville community and hope you will continue to join us 7 miles away at our Walnut Creek location."
The Walnut Creek cantina is located at 1470 N. Broadway and can be reached at 925-946-1010.
