DeSaulnier To Discuss USPS, Voting In Virtual Town Hall Meeting
An emergency virtual town hall to discuss the United States Postal Service and voting in Contra Costa County will be held Monday.
Press release from Congressman Mark DeSaulnier: Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) announced that he will host an emergency virtual town hall to discuss the United States Postal Service and voting in Contra Costa County on Monday, August 24th at 3:00 p.m. PT. The event will be held live on Congressman DeSaulnier’s Facebook page (facebook.com/repmarkdesaulnier).
Congressman DeSaulnier will be joined by Harold Kelso, California State President of the National Association of Letter Carriers as well as Deborah Cooper, Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters, and Scott Konopasek, Assistant Registrar for Contra Costa. The town hall will feature a brief presentation and panel discussion as well as a question and answer period addressing the recent changes made at USPS that are affecting mail delivery and mail-in ballots.
