Downtown Danville Parade Route, Street Closures for July 4th

Watching the parade on July 4th or wondering how to get around it? Here is some important info.

Are you planning to be one of the thousands attending the 4th of July parade this Sunday in downtown Danville?

Here is the basic info you need to know to attend this highly popular Tri-Valley event.

What: July 4th parade

Where: Downtown Danville beginning along Hartz Avenue and El Cerro Road.

When: Parade starts at 11 a.m.

Street closures: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Danville Boulevard, Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard  from El Cerro Road to Sycamore Valley Road. La Gonda Way and Love Lane will also be closed to be used as staging areas for the parade.  

Getting a good viewing spot: The town allows people to put out lawn furinture on sidewalks along the parade route starting at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 3.
