East Bay Man Killed After Hitting Live Wire In Alamo

The man was cutting trees when he hit an electrified wire, East Bay Times reported.

ALAMO, CA — A Bay Point man died around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on Escondido Court in Alamo after he hit an electrified wire while cutting trees, East Bay Times reported.

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District medics tried to save him, but Gregorio Galves Avalos, 25, was pronounced dead, the paper reorted.

The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating.
