Enjoy 'Pizza With The Police' Next Week In Danville
Town residents are encouraged to stop by, have dinner at Mountain Mike's and meet with local officers.

DANVILLE, CA – The Danville Police Department, in an effort to promote an ongoing, solid collaboration with the community, is inviting town residents to come have a slice of pizza and get to know their police department. "Pizza with the Police" is set from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 24 at Mountain Mike’s, 130 Hartz Ave. in Danville.
Police Chief Allan Shields said the upcoming meet-and-greet is a way for the public to interact with their local law enforcement in a non-stressful environment.
“So often when people have an interaction with police, it can be very stressful,” he said. “Sitting down for some food, and just talking, is a much better way for people to meet and get to know us.”
