Bring family and friends to the Blackhawk Plaza for a day of art and wine on Saturday, August 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Here are just a few events taking place at the Art & Wine Festival:
- Artists will demonstrate the process of working in many mediums including brush painting, clay, stone, photography, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, glass and jewelry.
- A local Bonsai club will treat art and garden lovers to Bonsai demonstrations.
- Dancers from the Danville area will present a program including their talented young and advanced dancers.
- Area poets featuring poets from the Tri Valley poetry groups will hold a poetry reading at Read Booksellers.
- Tri Valley wineries will be presenting wine tasting sessions with their finest wines. Tasting wristbands are available at Stomp for $10 and include a commemorative wine glass. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Alamo Danville Artists' Society
