Now through April 28 the Museum of the San Ramon Valley is hosting one of its most unique and unusual exhibits: Wild, Weird and Wonderful, showcasing the collections of many San Ramon Valley residents.
In conjunction with this exhibit, on Saturday, April 7 at 10 am there will be a gem collecting presentation at the Museum by expert Dick Friesen.
Enjoy a collection of beautiful gems and watch as he carves, polishes and mounts them into settings that will catch your eye. Friesen will share his knowledge of gem collecting and show visitors his tools and basic equipment for starting their own hobby of gem collecting.
