Danville Congregational Church (DCC) is pleased to announce that it will present an evening of music in support of the church’s Neighbors In Need outreach campaign.  The concert, featuring Baritone Bruce Rameker and pianist Kristin Pankonin, with musical support from the DCC Chancel Choir will present classical and contemporary vocal works based on themes of divine and human love.  The event will take place on Sunday October 9, 2011, beginning at 5pm at the church, located at 989 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Danville.  Admission is free, with a donation requested.

Bruce Rameker has appeared as both baritone and countertenor on stages around the world, including Lincoln Center and Kennedy Center and has sung with renowned opera companies.  He is very active in New York’s contemporary music scene and his repertoire includes ancient music, operetta, oratorio, tango and new music.
