MASTERS OF VENICE: RENAISSANCE PAINTINGS ON DISPLAY AT deYOUNG MUSEUM
Slides & lecture complement an exclusive presentation of 50 paintings by 16th century Venetian painters such as Titian, Giorgione, Veronese,, Tintoretto, and Mantegna on loan to the deYoung Museum from the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. Fatured are outstanding examples of the work of Venetian painters collected by the Archdukes and emperors of the Hapsburg. Program is presented by the Town of Danville and the Friends of Danville Library. Admission is free.
