Student Recognition Project Community Open House

On March 18, members of the community are invited to attend the Student Recognition Project Open House. Come by to view amazing projects, enjoy live entertainment, refreshments, and mingling with your neighbors.

Each year the San Ramon Valley Business/Education Roundtable coordinates a Student Recognition Project event designed as an opportunity to recognize high school students in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD). Students compete in 25 categories and project judging is done by professional business people. The SRVUSD website describes the project purpose as a "program to create collaboration among students, educators and the business community in the San Ramon Valley, to promote educational excellence and to prepare students for the business world of the 21st century."

Project categories include: Acting, Applied Design, Architecture, Automotive, Computer Aided Drafting, Community Service, Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Entrepreneur, Fashion Design, Financial Planning/Investment, Journalism, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Photography (Digital and Film), Poetry, Robotics, Science and Technology, Video Production, Visual Arts (Black & White and Color) and Web Design.
